Why do people feel the need to flaunt their friend count in their display. Its not cool and its really annoying. I mean who the hell cares how many friends you have. Its fucking myspace why the need to make it a stupid popouarity contest. It gets really annoying to see 20.3k every fucking where. Like when will it stop. I have 33k but you dont see me telling everyone... wtf.

i used to put it in my headline just so i wont forget my starting number that day.. so i could easily track my adds daily since i'm too retarded to actually remember.
idk, i don't usually see people with higher fcs doing it as much.

however, i used to do it a few years ago for the same reason... but back then it was easy as takin a shit to get 2k/day

I think a lot of the n00b group train riders/w4w's use that. I think on some level they think it will make people add them or w4w with them w/o checking their actual friend counts. I used to do it to keep track especially when I was s4s and riding a ton of trains but then I realized it's like a big red ugly flag. Oh the tender days of ones myspace youth. lol.

What really gives me the shits is the ".(insert number/s here)". Especially those who go 1.64K, I mean it's bad enough just having it there ...

I guess they want people to go "OH MY GOSH THAT PERSON HAS SOOO MANY FRIENDS!". Those who announce it are the ones who have no irl friends and get "w4w" comments just to increase their comment counts to look half like they don't whore and they actually got those comments from being pr0.

Back when I s4s'd i'd have it in my name purely to make it easier. i'd get more of a response from people around the same fc as me when it was up.
