Well in Andy's case, mychanger + having like 20 other accounts with good friend counts. He built up his first accounts when he was still a Myspace whore through powerwhores and profile tracker things up to like 100K and went from there.

not necessarily mychanger, pinstripe. at least not nowadays. before captchas were instated you could do shit like that, but unless you want to sit on your ass and do however many captchas you want through a huge phish list i doubt it. layout sites just naturally grow, especially if you have a legit site up that is often updated. hell, i'm sure you could /probably/ even implement a macro in your code for your layout site that embeds something that makes the signed in account(wether it be stored on ie or ff cookies) that they're on add your layout site. thus making anyone that navigates to your layout site send you a friend request if they're still logged into myspace. i've fucked with it before, and i'm pretty sure it's doable through java. if you have a low id layout site they grow a lot faster that i've seen, especially if they're in the 3-5 digit range. people just want layouts, and they have no problem adding a seemingly harmless layout site to get one. and if you do shit right, you can make a fuckin killing off of leads for layout sites, even fuckin pay per click is something that would do well with those. i'm not sure what andy's strategy is to achieving such elite layout sites, but hell i give him props. when nathan amazing had default layouts, he'd post me and i'd get 400 adds within 5 minutes. it was shocking to see something that active. even the most obscure sites that aren't raped for posts all day do well. putting them in eachothers top 8's works well also, just a matter of having a legit looking site.

But yeah, it's a little pathetic I think. How much do you think they're making each day off this crap? I have a layout site, but it's really, really hard getting going because of the big sites.

everyone has to start somewhere, i have a 5 digit layout site and a 90k layout site and make pretty good money. can't wait for them to get bigger!

i've told you the emails jeremy. but in your case i'm willing to bet that you'll never see those accounts again, sorry. it's just because of the stipulation of it, no admin will believe what you're going to tell them.
