Are you wasting your time?

How many trains do you ride?
How do you know you are actually getting adds from posting a half an hour worth of bulletins everyday?

I have what is called a "control" or a "dummy" account.
It's a blank myspace that rides in the middle of each train and everyday I see how adds were.
If adds drop below 300, I redo the train codes.

I really care about how effective my trains are, and its worth the extra time.
However, most train owners don't care about the adds, since they are making money, getting referrals and their myspace is getting adds, given their first place spot on the code.

You need to resign from each train (non-weekend days) for one day and see how your adds fluctuate.
If you don't see a difference, or a difference of 50 adds... is it worth the time and the friends posting bulletins lose you?

Actually i am in the process of removing myself from a few trains because i do feel like im wasting time=/. And i have a few dummy accounts on mine also. Some riding vip Some in The Middle Some last And some in the bulletin code and not on the train at all =p

50k-, stoppable, mine & the peoples train.
just started riding bts today.

i'm about to drop the peoples train seeing as i'm posting 4 proofs a day for it... and i'm riding last spot.

Believe it or not Most adders of the peoples train actually add that far =o. And i guarantee you when they update you will be at a higher spot

First off quit, who the f cares about a little account that posts 4 times daily....
I have 100ks posting 10-15 times daily and you dont hear them crying about not getting adds they love it...
So that might tell you that you need to post more and try to get vip with your HUGE fc
Or better yet join a noob express with a no limit...

Posted minimum and got maybe 400-600 adds daily
Dropped them all but like 4-6 GOOD trains posted vip for them and went to over 1k daily..
Way too many trains out there right now to try to ride them all
I just look at signup blogs, look at number of proofs daily and number of higher fcs posting for vip..
Unless you are one of the top top riders like 200k+ you arent going to get adds posting minimum amounts..
Is why i only join good trains like Kates and post vip for them <333333333

i made a list and lowered it to 12 trains and 3 maybes..
i only have to post 2 or on 1 a day for all of them and i plan on going for VIP .. i hope this works lol

I respect your opinion 100% Kate. Right now I'm riding 5 trains and
two of which I only post 3 per train. Should I drop those two trains???
One train??? None??? I would like to be posting a bunch and in my
opinion I must drop at least one. If one then which one??? Pardon my
ignorance. I'm very NEW to this world of blog trains!!! Any advice from
people I look up to such as yourself would be much appreciated and I

wow, you're so defensive. it's just a myspace train.. if i'm such a useless member of it then why are you getting all upset?
it's definitely a good train for higher fcs, obviously. they're at the top getting great adds from all the members you have posting 20+ proofs a day.
it's nearly impossible for me to post for VIP on that train seeing as I post at least 10 proofs for each of kaits trains im on so I can get VIP there.
there's no way i can post 20 proofs for one train to get VIP.
i knonw how the adds are coming from both sides, from a high fc(97k) and a small fc.
it's WAY harder to get the amount of adds on a small fc account.

Alright so I'm gonna set the record straight.

A lower friend count has no chance of getting adds on a train with more than 30 riders.
My train is clearly one of the most elite on myspace and they are no limit.
My high friend counts post twice a day and my lower friend counts battle for vip.

With only 35 riders and over 200+ blog posts a day, and my dummy account getting 450 adds/day.
My 2k riders post for VIP and get real adds. My 200k+ post once and get about the same.

Everyone wins.

Oh, and Ronald. I love Brian and Kristen with my life but in my opinion their trains have too many riders and too many VIP riders to get adds to the lower half of the train.

Don't get me wrong.....I love em as well...........and Ray....(DP, haha).....and I think their trains rock but the 50 post limit for me is built for three to four maximum for the way I would like to post!!! Since your trains were the ones that de-viginized me to blog trains, that is where I feel I should post..........and another reason is that I WORSHIP the ground you walk on!!!
